ASKN Ltd is the organisation behind a growing ecosystem of education, skills and technology businesses. Our approach has developed from years of direct experience rather than theory alone.
We understand what it means to operate education settings, manage teams, support children and families, develop staff, respond to SEND, maintain compliance, manage financial pressures and continually improve quality. This operational experience influences everything we build.
We believe meaningful innovation starts by understanding the problem first. Technology, training and new business models should therefore support professionals and organisations rather than create additional complexity.
Our vision is to build a connected and scalable education ecosystem that improves outcomes for children and learners, develops people, supports education providers and uses technology responsibly to enable better practice.
Our long-term ambition is to grow this ecosystem across the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, while building partnerships that allow knowledge, skills and innovation to travel across borders.
ASKN's story began with early years education. Through Smart Kids Nursery, we have accumulated more than 15 years of experience in operating, developing and consulting within early years provision.
Working directly with children, families, practitioners, managers and external professionals has given us an understanding of both the opportunities and the pressures within the sector.
As our experience developed, one issue became increasingly clear: many challenges in education are interconnected.
Workforce development affects quality. Administrative workload affects how much time practitioners can spend with children. SEND support depends on good information, skilled professionals and effective collaboration. Training is more valuable when it reflects what employers and practitioners actually need. Technology is more effective when it is designed around real working environments.
This thinking led us beyond operating nurseries alone. ASKN began developing a wider ecosystem connecting education, skills, professional development and technology.
Today, the ecosystem is built around Early Years Education & SEND, Skills-Based Professional Training & CPD, and Education Powered by Technology & AI — delivered through Smart Kids Nursery, Stanfords Training and Nomass.AI.
Together, these areas allow us to identify challenges through practice, develop people and skills, test new approaches and create solutions capable of wider application.
Our foundation is early years education and the practical operation and development of nursery settings. Our experience includes curriculum delivery, staff development, safeguarding, assessment, parental engagement, operational management, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
SEND and inclusion are central to our approach. Our experience supporting children with different developmental and additional needs has strengthened our belief that education systems should be designed around individual needs rather than expecting every child to fit the same model.
Education quality depends heavily on the people delivering it. We invest in developing practitioners, apprentices, emerging leaders and managers while creating pathways through which people can build practical workplace skills.
Our experience extends beyond classroom practice into operational leadership, workforce planning, organisational development, business improvement and sustainable growth — allowing us to view education from both an educational and organisational perspective.
Through Nomass.AI, we are translating operational knowledge into digital solutions. Our principle is straightforward: technology should solve problems identified through practice — not create solutions and then search for problems to justify them.
Our future is not defined by one nursery, one training centre or one technology product. We are building an ecosystem.
We see a future where a challenge identified by a practitioner in a nursery can influence a training programme, inspire a technology solution and ultimately help another education organisation thousands of miles away.
Our next chapter will focus on expanding our education settings, developing Stanfords Training, advancing Nomass.AI and building strategic partnerships across the UK, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
Experience gives us our foundation. People give us our purpose. Technology gives us the ability to scale.
